So it looks like the man behind the coup in Turkey is a charter school operator in Pennsylvania.

It sounds like it's failed and was only by a narrow section of the military. It's too bad, Erdogan is an Islamist tyrant who carries himself like an Ottoman sultan and needs to go.

I'm more aligned with Odin on this one; Erdegon is more like Putin than any Western leader. About 268 killed I hear; I certainly predicted violence much higher than usual for this time in the wake of Mars stationary in Scorpio in June, and Saturn square Neptune. But I didn't predict a lot of the specifics.
I hope that he survives this coup politically only to lose the next election, which is what his opposition probably wants to happen, too.

The problem is that he will emerge stronger and he may be difficult to defeat after the purges take place.
