I don't think air conditioners themselves are the problem; they are actually very essential to human lives. Without them, people would not be able to live in warmer climates. Why else do you think millions of people are flocking to the South? Air conditioners are a must there, so I've heard. It would be very hot and uncomfortable without air conditioning. However, the links you shared say the members of the climate conference John Kerry went to are working on an amendment to eliminate the harmful chemicals in air conditioners. I think you've misquoted there, Rags.

Not for the first time, Rags. I don't give out dodo awards, but Eric the Green must come up with a new award for you. How about the brown award for being un-green?

I didn't see any reference to air conditioners in that first article, in fact. Kerry is 100% right. I don't think it's mathematically possible to be 1000% right; correct me if I'm wrong Smile But there's no doubt that climate change is a bigger threat to the world than the IS. In the second article, and its link to the right-wing Moonie paper Washington Examiner, they do not actually quote him saying what they claim he said.

Yes, it gets hot in Oklahoma every summer.

Uh, Mr. haircut in search of a brain didn't say how to fix / replace the bad ones.

Oh, OK.  In the spirit of I can take what I can dish out,  here: Big Grin

Easy, Mr. haircut in search of a brain conflated two issues and got pie in the eye.

He's discussing the wrong topic at the wrong location which confuses obviously biased folks like moi. Cool

In today's hyper-ventilated and hyper-connected world, it's best to stay on topic.  In programming lingo, he wrote spaghetti code.

1. Yes, there should be a clear hierarchy  of threats.
a. Thermonuclear exchange
b. Climate Change
c  I guess IS, but there may be other stuff like the messed economy that might be more germane than IS.

Washington Examiner is a Moonie source, oh, OK.  Any other questionable news sources besides
[Faux,Crap-Bull-Shit,Never-Been-Correct,Crap-Not-News,Always-Bullshiting-Crowds,Mickey-Mouse-Network,
New-York-Tinkles,etc.] I should be aware of?
Hey, I think Mr. Kerry is doing very well keeping all his hair. I have fewer good hair days than he does. And yes I think there's a brain underneath; one I am grateful is Secretary of State, compared to the dodo that Romney or McCain woula-appointed.
