She would have "hid" Republican, not Democratic votes. It would never occurred to me that that is what DWS stands for, in this context. Those false charges against the DNC keep hanging around, to our detriment.

Conspiracy theories are essential to the identities of Trump fanatics, just as they were to devotees of Senator Joseph R. McCarthy. Surely the Democrats had banked thousands of fabricated ballots that would put Gillum and Nelson over the top. Add to this, Democrats got huge gains in the House and in Governorships because they cheated. Is there any other explanation?

The Truth is Trump on all things -- even science and religion.

Blue states, 22 pick-ups and 1 leading, minus 2 GOP pick-ups
Purple states, 12 pick-ups, minus 1 GOP pick-up
Red states, 7 pick-ups

41 pick-ups, minus 3 GOP pick-ups = 38, plus Democrats leading now for 1 pickup = 39. Democrats should have 234 seats, Republicans 201 unless leads change hands.

I designated Purple states as AZ CO MI PA, as well as the usual

Blue states MN, NM, VA, as well as the usual

Blue state Dem pick ups:
CA 6
IL 2
ME 1
MN 2 minus 2 GOP pick ups
NJ 4
NM 1
NY 2 + 1 leading
VA 3
WA 1

Purple state Dem pick ups:
AZ 1
CO 1
FL 2
IA 2
MI 2
PA 4 minus 1 GOP pick up

Red state Dem pick ups:
GA 1
KS 1
OK 1
SC 1
TX 2
UT 1

The New York 22 race is still not called, but the Democrat is ahead by 1886.  Republican Woodall won GA 7 by 419 votes. Washington Post and Real Clear Politics have called the Utah 4 race for the Democrat McAdams, who is ahead by 694 votes.

A Utah win could save Pelosi for speaker, if she only loses 16 votes and Ben McAdams supports her. 234-16=218. Meanwhile two others of the 16 who signed a letter opposing Pelosi have changed their mind.
News organizations say Brindisi expanded his lead over Tenney in NY 22 to 4000 votes with 1900 to be counted. AP still hasn't called the race.

Real Clear called the NY 22 race for Brindisi, the Democrat. And now the CA 21 race is still not called. The Democrat Cox has forged into the lead by 436 votes.

It looks like the Democrats will hit the big 40 after all!
