2020: Halloween is another piece of evidence of the disruption of child life. This is just another piece of evidence of the most inglorious, unheroic, fcuked-up year in American history. The only good that I can see about so horrid a year as this one are:

1. that people who undergo hard times appreciate good ones better and do not take them for granted, and learn a few things the hard way which is one way in which to not forget the lesson, and

(depending on the result of the general election)

2. the weakening of the GOP, and

3. the defeat of Donald Trump with the assurance that we will never elect anyone like him for a long time.
