I expect to hate just about everything that he does as President. Nothing that he did on the campaign gave me any cause to believe that he would be anything other than a vicious boor. I also expect to hate the Republican party as it becomes increasingly monolithic and increasingly consolidates crushing power on the American political system. I expect America to become even more inegalitarian in economic results.
America will have a brain drain. If one has a smart kid and a choice of countries to go to, then one will not choose America where a college degree will put one in deep debt. (If the kids aren't so bright, then the USA will be OK... for kids who can grow up to be waiters, landscapers, and the like. But there's no debt associated with those low-paying jobs). Countries that have declining populations might find American youth of above-average intelligence as solutions to demographic decline. Get a degree in Sweden, and you will likely stay in Sweden.

Especially because Comrade Trump won, I'm glad to have some guns. I'm thinking of getting more. I need a good newer model tactical rifle plus another long range precision one. Partisennes need guns. Explosives even better. Not saying it will definitely reach that point. But if we end up being a Quisling regime to the up coming 4th Reich (which I do believe will rise up during the current 4T), I plan to be part of the Resistance. I know I'm just one guy who knows how to shoot, who in spite of my years, can force a march through a fair bit of territory. I am in good shape especially when vertical relief is involved. I am not alone and if I link up with others of a similar bent, we could do an effective insurgency if required. Thank God for the Second Amendment.

The majority of the heartland in and beyond the Sierras, Cascades and Appalachians will not care; they will be all too proud to stand up for America and make it great again by putting the protesters and journalists in jail, or kill them. We've seen this movie before, but it was only coming attractions. Our nation could very well end up like Turkey is ending up now, and just as there, the people who get counted will be happy about it. Very happy.

And the concerns that you and your fellow Trump and Cruz voters raised were about "the first and second amendments." In other words, freedom to discriminate against gays, and freedom for anyone to own as many guns as they wish, of any kind. And you voted on the basis of the abortion battle; you admitted that specifically. Don't back away from your statement now. You voted for Trump to make abortion illegal. And it could happen.

He will 'not be that bad' because he won't be able to get away with some of his campaign rhetoric. Much of America fears Donald Trump, and such fears as many have will not be implemented.
In the event of a really nasty meltdown of the economy, many illegal aliens will self-deport. This will be far more effective than any deportation force.
I expect a Trump Administration to be a worker's nightmare as the Reactionary Party will finally get to pass a nationwide Right to Work law that will eviscerate unions. Workplace safety will deteriorate severely, with more people dying or being crippled on the job. It will also be a bane of those with environmental concerns, as he will almost certainly be the best possible friend of polluters.
I see him as very much a divider, largely because he will force liberals and Democrats into irrelevance for at least his first term.
I predict that the gains of minorities in economic results will stall, with many young adults finding no roles for them. I predict that we will have riots at least as bad as those of the '60s -- and Donald Trump and Republican governors will over-react.
Can one lead by ensuring that 45% of the electorate can remain permanently irrelevant? Maybe . If so, then America will steadily degenerate. In some places on the periphery, liberals will seek independence... and get it. But that suggests a Yugoslav-style breakup, something very possible in a 4T. It would take only a few years for a large state like California to secede from America.
