One of the problems with tyranny is that it increases.

Americans born today think torture, kill lists, groping, and wiretapping are perfectly acceptable.

There was a time when you didn't need a driver license. Later driver licenses were required. Driver licenses then needed a photo. Later you needed a written exam. A driving test was then required. Later you needed a medical test. A car inspection was required. Later you needed liability insurance. Driver license fees increased and fingerprints were required. Soon DNA samples, microchip implants, and vaccines will be needed to get a license.

Yes, this is the usual argument that workers need the freedom to be overworked and underpaid when needed but easy to cast off when they aren't so needed. Basically it is an excuse for on-call employment for abysmal pay. Wage and hour laws make this tricky at best for an employer.

In general workers most blatantly overworked and underpaid work either in the private non-profit sector (such as religious organizations) or in business entities barely surviving. Not so long ago, "worst companies to work for" included Radio Shack (now kaputt) and Sears (moribund). People who have an exit from such entities ordinarily use them.

No it isn't. I am a Marxjst and I agree with the libertarian b that vast chunks of the bourgeois regulatory State is simply used to keep workers poor within the context of capitalism. Strengthen working class power while gutting restrictik s in individual behavior - that is the ticket.

The USA is an immoral bankrupt warmongering police state now.

The elites control Hollywood, the media, Wall Street, and the government.

What if actors, reporters, politicians, and bankers risked their jobs for the 99% by smearing the elites every chance they could?

What if the Gestapo refused to arrest people for victimless crimes, Americans refused to obey the law, the TSA refused to grope people, soldiers refused to go to war, taxpayers refused to pay taxes, NSA agents quit, CIA agents refused to torture, IRS agents refused to collect taxes, and juries refused to convict people?

Are Americans crippled retards? Are Americans just victims? Isn't anyone responsible for anything?

Spread the word.
