I don't really like the current emphasis on GMOs modified for glyphosate resistance, which IMO is just a shameless ploy to get farmers dependent of RoundUp herbicide, but GMOs as a technology in general is very much a net good to the world and the opposition to golden rice is absolute idiocy.
