Seventy-five years ago the Soviet Army liberated the Factory of Suffering and Murder at Auschwitz. Auschwitz is infamous today more as deed than as a place, a consequence of the juxtaposition of hatred, ignorance, fanaticism, cruelty, secrecy, and greed victimizing helpless people. Not Jewish, I question whether I can express the horror.
