Considering that Bush was willing to start a war based on fake news from The New York Times, no surprise!

Was it based on so called NYT fake news or was it based on actual WMD, which were spirited across the border into Syria, and/or airlifted to Russia, just prior to the US invasion?

Definitely fake news. 

I remember the head of the IAEA, Mohamed ElBaradei, arguing that there were no nukes in Iraq at the time, and no evidence of a program either. Maybe he helped sneak them out.
