If Trump is to be busted for involvement with a prostitute, it will be for tax fraud or money laundering for buying her silence with campaign funds. Tax fraud and money laundering are both more blatantly illegal than is paid sex with a prostitute. $135K will keep someone quiet until the money runs out... but once the money runs out, as it does with people not known for frugality (prostitutes are big spenders), the recipient gets noisy. Trump is dumb enough to believe that one can pay off a blackmailer once with a one-time settlement.
