Are Heroes mostly brave - oder obedient?

I don't call them heroes, but Civics. I think they are obedient and conformist rather than brave. Bravery is a genetic trait which is the same in all generations.

GIs were more obedient to their Missionary leaders, while Millennials tend to obey their social media peer society. The later is more insidious, IMO.
