Danilynn is right, guys. We can't throw a temper tantrum and threaten secession every time our side loses.
Threatening actual secession is a good tactic for setting the tone for "virtual secession" (TM pending). I've posted above some of the possible initial steps, particularly fond of the "sanctuary states." There's more, lots more, and I'm not quite as creative as those living in the Bay Area.
