The irony of the oligarchs getting challenged by 21st-Century "Jesus freaks" would be exquisite.
I guess that's a frightening prospect, if Trump's takeover is permanent. Instead of just excluding illegal immigrants, Bannon and the Trumpsters may use resistance against him as an excuse to start a war and chase them out, and truly make America great again-- meaning white, male-dominated and Christian again.
And unfortunately Christians today are nothing like the Roman variety. Rather than challenging the empire or the oligarchy, today they are the chief foundation and backbone of it. So they will never rise against it; their new leader will install his class into permanent power, unless the resistance succeeds.
