2T? It all depends upon the character of the world that we live in (or our part of it) at the end of the Crisis. A thermonuclear war that destroys civilization? Then the cycle ends. End of America? Who are the occupiers? Do they treat Americans as serfs or slaves at the worst, do they try to force assimilation into the culture of the occupying power, or do they allow a New Birth of Freedom?
How do Americans see their parents? Culpable of the horrific crimes of the Crisis? Or simply out of touch? (As I recall Howe and Strauss suggested that the West Germans had much the same 2T as Americans... Germany of course having lost the war and middle-aged adults still holding much shame).
Suppose that things are somewhat normal. I expect the kids growing up to have an exaggerated trust in their own abilities to make moral judgments in contrast with conformist parents and grandparents. This is as Millennial adults are building big, soulless projects with little contemplation of the human touch. Whatever social problems were neglected at the end of the Crisis will come back to haunt America, and the New Boomers will be just the ones to champion the causes that got shoved aside because they were deemed insignificant or irrelevant.
