I subscribe to evolution. There were probably people aware of it in some manner thousands of years ago. They needed to explain the world to the illiterate.
Is that how that worked? Unnamed people, aware of evolution ('cause why not, right?), decided to explain their understanding of the world by giving a completely contradictory story in its place?
Lemme guess, the Russians were responsible for the errors that crept in, weren't they?
