On 16 June 2016, Cox was shot and stabbed multiple times during her lunch break in Birstall, West Yorkshire, where she had been holding a meeting with her constituents. She was left in a critical condition and subsequently died from her injuries in hospital. A 52-year-old man was arrested in connection with the attack.[3]
More here.
What a horrible thing. She was a rising political star and a humanitarian who spoke out in favor of human rights and refugees. She opposed the Brexit, and the insane creep who killed her yelled "Britain first!" as he killed her. I hope the British vote to stay in the union as a tribute to this martyr.
