I dunno, accepting your premise for a second, maybe look at historical examples of societies (or, rather, subsections thereof) wherein people habitually did not work. Slaves, serfs, and servants were the original robots, you know. Or, you know, looking at all of the things people have been doing in the US since manufacturing started going away. The service economy is not exactly a new thing.
