They are more subtle.
If they destroy American Democracy, then the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys, Patriot Front, and KKK or groups recruited largely from them get to operate in the open. Many of the SS of Hitlerland drifted in from the militaristic, secretive, antisemitic Freikorps. The genteel Junkers may not have been outright Nazis, but they certainly facilitated their rise as the Junkers found the Nazis useful to their political and economic ends.
