I wonder, since Classic Xer thinks we should keep the confederate statues up, whether he would like to see statues of our other traitors and enemies. They are, after all, part of our history. Should we have a statue of King George III in Washington DC? He was the leader of our country for a long time. How about the British generals? Should we name military bases after them too? Benedict Arnold? John Breckinridge ran for president and became a traitor. Maybe he needs a statue. Kaiser Wilhelm, Hitler, Tojo, Mussolini, they are part of our history too. Should we erect statues to them too?
