We still are. In fact, we're much more productive now than then, but seem to need two 50-hour a week workers to satisfy the needs of the owner class. Since the benefits stopped flowing down a long time ago, the willingness to continue in this vein will stop at some point. I certainly hope that point is soon … very soon.
