The "Bad Apples" of each generation

For bad guys, most of the school shooters seem to be Millennials. The angriest of Millennials make the cynicism of Gen X look idealistic. Does anyone speculate why this is? For Millennials the killers are the outcast loners whereas with Boomers the bad guys are the charismatic people that everyone thinks is a good person. Why the difference?
