I really despise trigger words. Ppl call Dog Whistle, they just use it for their own purposes. I've a low opinion of the ordinary person who does not have general knowledge. Because they are so easy to control and we pay for that in voting.
Then, when you have learned people, they will do battle over which form or version or definition of socialism you are using. It kind of makes me a bit ill.
Is not Socialism meaning "Group" over "Individual"? Wouldn't that be an apt description?
We Americans are in truth really independent people who I would describe many as they will give to you, they will help, they will be open, but they don't want anyone telling them how or when to do that. And other many would carry this over to "my taxes go to __________" and I'm not having it.
The way I see it, we have ALL of us "agreed" to this almost like a Terms of Service by being an American, we have agreed to support the government structure through taxation. We're arguing about how THEY are, in turn, using it with things labeled as "entitlement" programs. But is that not Socialism? Is not Social Security a form of Socialism? ALL the entitlement programs are.
We already have it. It's here. Bernie Sanders spoke openly and freely about not judging something as a whole (Cuba) but looking at how they actually helped their citizens. I liked that. No lies, no dog whistle. Of course, everyone outside of that mentality goes "oooooooooohhhhhhh we cannot move toward Socialism" and that was cowardly. In fact, Sanders was "radical" enough to implement something different instead of a stalled engine. And of course, he got beat down by his own people and the other people for that.
Right now, we are seeing mass implementation of "The Group" as I made another thread about this. Right now, the individual liberty is taking a hit, everyone is being asked to be tin soldiers moving along to the grocery store then back home, trusting the president and all those people will work this out.
Is this not a mass movement/shift toward Socialism? I mean, we need to be sending up the flares and calling (not emailing) our Senators to make them stop. We must tell them we cannot allow Socialism by isolating. We must prevail with individual ruggedness and the Spirit of America. Ride it out like John Wayne into the Valley, guns blazing.
The other way is like France and the Freedom Fries. They needed to be saved. We can't be like them.
