Trump had been accusing the Republican committee of favoring their establishment candidates as well, famously threatening a third party run if they didn't provide a level playing field. Somehow, the establishment committees backing the establishment candidates doesn't seem like much of a surprise to me. The hackers had a nice sense of timing, anyway.
The big thing I'm taking out of this is that nobody should be using e-mail for communications without first becoming a candidate for sainthood. You almost have to assume that between hackers, court discovery, disgruntled employees etc... everything you do by e-mail can become public knowledge.
