I think Mr. Kaiser comparison is a bit farfechted. Yes, both men -Wilhelm the Stupid and Trump- have strong narcist characteristics, but the historical context is so different, that we can´t learn anything about Trump by comparing him to Wilhelm. Wilhelm takes over at the end of the german 1T, after my opinion starts the 2T with the dismissal of Bismarck and lose his throne in 3T. As a monarch he inherit his power and sees it over the quarter of a century never really questioned. After the whole Kaiser-thing stops being fun and games he got easily shifted to the sidelines and in the end he run away.
Whatever you say about Trump, that he was born rich, that he is more a con-man as a buisness-man, he build the empire which enabled him to run for president himself. And in the middle of a crisis, the presidemcy can easily turn in a question of life or death.
At the end a generational question to Wilhelm: Artist or prophet?
