They don't seem to be in a hurry though...
Yes, and an oddity I find fully baffling. Is anyone awake at DOJ?
The Dems beiing the do-too-little party is actually worse than the GOP do-nothings. At least the do-nothings are following their twisted beliefs. The do-too-littles claim to be outraged, then put the entire issue on very slow boil. They'll probably lose in 2022 and fully deserve it. We, on the other hand, deserve better -- much better.
The Dems are who we got. The do-too-little Party is much better than the do-nothing Party, not "actually worse". Following twisted beliefs is worse than slow boil. That leaves everything to the do-too-little Party, and dumb pundits and cynics say this is what divides the country, when it's the people who are dividing the country. But the do-too-littles can't do too much when, thanks to too many voters who voted for the do-nothings, their razor-thin majority depends on 2 DINOs in a Senate which was constructed to give slaveholders more power. And the people are too dumb to observe this.
Voting Democratic is necessary to extend the Democratic majorities in congress. Then the do-too-little Party would do-much-better. But we needed a president with the intuitive forecasting skills of a master psychic or astrologer, ones even better than me, and Biden doesn't have those skills. Who else could have predicted the current supply and labor messes and the rapid fall of Afghanistan? So his approval rating is tanking because he is doing-too-little about the current problems. But short of mobilizing the armed forces and hiring immigrants, which he's not doing, there's not much he can do. So we probably will get inadequate action in the next four years, and maybe no action at all or negative action if Harris is nominated in 2024. Climate action in this case will be limited to the blue states and whatever they can do without federal support.
