Presidential "Skipping" of Silents/Gen X
#37
Obama seems to have done what Adaptive men often do, melding characteristics of the masculinity of the older generation just before his... and the gender younger than his. To be sure he may be imitating GI masculinity as well as Boom masculinity instead of Millennial masculinity and Boom masculinity. Such is often a mess, but I see GI rationality and decisiveness with Boom judgment, which is the worst thing that Osama bin Laden could have encountered in a nemesis.

Obama did a superb job in appealing to Millennial adults.
The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the dedicated Communist  but instead the people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction, true and false, no longer exists -- Hannah Arendt.
