So, who indoctrinated you and how long did it take? You must not be paying attention to the unsavory politicians and corporations that currently have your fate in their hands. It is just the turnings turning.  Through the unraveling it seemed wise to keep the government small by not solving problems.  The result was problems that cannot be ignored.  I count them as COVID, the economy, systematic racism, global warming and red violence.  In time the problems will be less, the government more corrupt, and the pendulum will swing the other way.  However, that time is decades in the future.

Another example of 3T thinking gone sour: the Texas electric grid has been under funded for decades, and collapsed under a load it couldn't sustain.  And the wind turbines they bought were bottom-of-the-barrel as well.  The Canadians and Swedes have no problems with theirs in much harsher conditions. "You get what you pay for" is just as true today as ever.

Not in all cases. You can get a cut of steak for, say, $17 at a modest restaurant while that very same cut at a trendy location can set you back $30 or more.
