No, if I had gotten filthy rich in my lifetime from a middle-class start I wouldn't throw money away into a dream house as is the commonplace way of pro athletes and winners of the Super Duper Megabucks Lottery. I would have better ways of using money than garish, showy excess.
Maybe you forget how I excoriated McMansions as housing for people with more money than wisdom.
