Americans want to think that they live in a peaceful, free country with a balanced budget, but that belief is not true.

Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

You know that you live in a police state when everything is illegal and you have no rights.

You have no free speech rights, religious rights, gun rights, there is civil forfeiture, the government wiretaps your phone, records your web history, reads your email, takes away your right to silence, can torture you, and can extrajudicuallly assassinate you.

Your taxes fund illegal immigrants, debt, endless wars, curfews, checkpoints, no fly lists, private prisons, mandatory minimums, 3 strikes laws, DNA databases, CISPA, SOPA, NDAA, IMBRA, FBAR, FATCA laws, TSA groping, secret FISA courts, and Jade Helm.

The elites are obviously going all the way to destroy the world. Just look at history and Mao, Hitler, and Stalin.

When Americans remain quiet about rising debt, Obamacare, food stamps, regulations, endless US wars, increasing taxes, illegal immigrants, nanny state laws, security cameras, license plate readers, checkpoints, redlight cameras, speed cameras, FBI facial and voice recognition, curfews, gun bans, NSA wiretapping, the end to the right to silence, free speech bans, searches without warrants, private prisons, mandatory minimums, 3 strikes laws, DNA databases, CISPA, SOPA, NDAA, IMBRA, private prison quotas, no knock raids, take down notices, no fly lists, terror watch lists, Constitution free zones, stop and frisk, 3 strikes laws, kill switches, National Security Letters, kill lists, FBAR, FATCA, Operation Chokepoint, TSA groping, civil forfeiture, CIA torture, NDAA indefinite detention, secret FISA courts, FEMA camps, laws requiring passports for domestic travel, IRS laws denying passports for tax debts, gun and ammo stockpiles, laws outlawing protesting, police militarization, chain gangs, boot camps, and Jade Helm what kind of message does that send to the elites?

Do you think the 1% is just going to turn around and restore freedom? Do you think our overlords are just going to stop increasing tyranny on their own?

Unless Americans start speaking out, resisting, protesting, getting out into the streets with pitchforks and torches, tar and feathering the elites, cops, soldiers, politicians, government workers, and media puppets, breaking windows, setting fires, and killing people, Americans will end up in the concentration camps.

There’s no hope. The US will be lucky to last another 30 years.

The best we can do now is to warn people to study history and prepare.

The USA is a bankrupt warmongering police state.

The line has been crossed. The Bill of Rights will never be restored. Even if the government said that they have ended NSA wiretapping, CIA torture, NDAA indefinite detention, and secret FISA courts, who would believe them?

The 1% appears intent on causing an economic collapse, a civil war, and WWIII.

Those fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

I remember seeing much the same style from the 1990's on. Yes, there are plenty of kooks out there, but the writing style is much the same. That entity comes up with crazy explanations for everything from Ruby Ridge to 9/11 to Sandy Hook to perhaps the Capitol attack. There are plenty of nutcases around, and I may have them confused (which is easy to do because they think much alike and expose little about their personal lives, or if they do I don't believe them*). These people need to take breaks from their 'cloisters of craziness'.  


*I remember encountering some of those types who claim that they have scientific expertise and I have found a trick for tripping them up. I ask them what the integer of the inverse of x is. It should be as natural as falling off a rolling log in the river.

Donald Trump would have been a perfect model for America spiraling into despotism, except that such would have been absurd during the lifetime of the great Rod Serling (1924-1973). creator of The Twilight Zone.  COVID-19 has plenty of Serling-like material for writers living in this time, but it would have been too absurd to have the credibility of fiction before 2020.

Under our wannabe dictator Donald Trump (the second impeachment suggests such), all of the usual attributes of liberal democracy (civil liberties, rule of law, and political pluralism, among others) degraded. Now that he is off the political scene we Americans must do some soul-searching to avoid a repeat by someone who gets the "Dictator's Playbook" right the next time... you know, starting by violence against and persecution of the formal opposition before purging his Party... even if  (and especially if, I must say) by "my" democrats.

America is running deficits as if it were in a shooting war. At this point Joe Biden is a wartime President because this enemy

Donald Trump appeased COVID-19 even after it started occupying America, and for that he can burn in Hell, so far as I am concerned. At least Neville Chamberlain found a point at which appeasement no longer worked.

Americans used to fight Commies and Nazis, but now have become Commies and Nazis.

Americans scream that trade wars are good and then are stunned when prices rise and exports fall.

Americans are so batshit insane now that they demand regulations and then are shocked when prices rise and the economy dies.

When the regulations and trade wars kill the economy, Americans demand welfare and bailouts, but do not have the mental capacity to understand why taxes increase.

Americans insist there must be wars, but then Americans are surprised that wars lead to debt, refugees, tyranny, and terrorism.

Americans say Obama was an evil asshole for supporting wars, debt, and tyranny, but then turn around and say Trump is a holy god for embracing wars, debt, and the police state.

Americans want everything to be illegal, but are dumbfounded that crime increases and prisons become overcrowded.

Some regulation keeps us from doing destructive things or formally precludes people from doing what they do not do and think wrong. For example, the Civil Rights Act prohibits trade unions from discriminating against people on grounds of race. Labor unions of the time endorsed that prohibition.

What really messes up the economy for most people? Trickle-down economics fashionable on the Right for about forty years whose purpose is to further concentrate wealth, income, and power among the super-rich in America at the expense of everyone else. When workers prosper, that implies real prosperity; when workers suffer, we all do. The strength of our economy depends upon people being able to get away with silly things. When choosing between food and fuel while working at a dollar store is a mandatory choice, people have problems. When people have a choice between buying a new Buick or a new Chrysler if one is an assembly-line worker, we have prosperity.

It's usually the other way around. A fellow wrote a book named "A$$holes", and mentioned Donald Trump frequently as an example and discussed Obama largely for not being one.

Some things must be illegal if we are to have social decency and a vibrant economy, some things must be encouraged, and some things must be deprecated. So we criminalize theft, deprecate adultery, and encourage work. Does that make sense?

True.  But we are in no external conflicts, and folks mostly agree that we should be deficit spending in economic hard times.

Complete nonsense! The elites need their servants; they need enforcers of their rules and monitors of their assets; they need construction workers to build and maintain their castles, mansions, and palaces; they need people to make and sell stuff that induce people to go into debt; they need entertainers and purveyors of entertainment (including such people as ticket-takers at cinemas and amusement parks); they need people to deliver the stuff; they need soldiers. 

Most people seem happy enough to put in eight or so mind-numbing hours of toil sandwiched between an hour of commute time each way (a jalopy if one can afford one, slow mass transit if one is really poor), vegetate on a tacky sofa to watch the idiot screen between getting home and falling asleep, only to wake up, take a shower, eat breakfast, and return to work for the same stuff. If  one is supposedly lucky one can choose between 200 channels of mostly garbage or play video games on the idiot screen (which serves as a monitor). 

Neoliberal economics is the menace to a good life. To be sure, one must be very rich or very stupid to like it, but when one considers that the educational system is not so much for giving hints on how to find happiness and meaning in life as it is to train people to do mind-numbing work... our system largely pushes people way down on Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The system offers fear instead of any semblance of security, and even the supposed safety of being overworked and underpaid typically indicates that one works for a marginal entity.

The last forty years have been a rotten time in American history, all in all. With a few lapses such as the first two years of Democratic two-term administrations things work almost exclusively for shareholders and executives. For the rest of us the rule is to suffer with a smile and always remember to count your blessings. If you run out of blessings to count, then start counting the same  ones again. 

We seem to be going into a new era. Multitudes no longer believe that the take of the super-rich will ever improve their lives.

Looks like Civil War 2.0 is starting.

Americans need to be on the same page.

Nothing will get better.

The USA is not a democracy.

All taxes and laws are illegitimate now.

You can't vote for change.

You can't leave because the borders are closed.

The US collapse is not a theory. You can see the collapse with your own eyes.

Americans have been silent for too long and will now pay the price.

The elites have flat-out said that there is a NWO and a Great Reset will be coming.

The oligarchs don't need you. They will soon have robots.

Americans are slaves now. Your life is over. You have nothing left to lose. You are already dead.

The economy has been destroyed.

Unless Americans are willing to die and be arrested, the tyranny will rapidly increase.

The globalists want the 99% divided.

You may not like illegal immigrants, negroes, homosexuals, Muslims, welfare, and abortion, but Americans must put aside their differences and unite to fight the ruling class.

The real enemies today are the billionaires, politicians, Gestapo, government workers, and soldiers.

Starting right now, you must be obsessed with liberty. Educate others about the dangers of war, tyranny, and debt.

Buy guns, ammo, gold, and food.

You can run, drop-out, go Galt, and go off the grid in the short-term, but eventually the ruling class will hunt you down.

Maybe the best result from a Civil War would be secession, but that would be better than what we have now.

Being killed fighting in Somalia would be a waste, but fighting for freedom in the US is worthwhile.

Freedom should be in the DNA of every American.

Life without liberty is nothing.
