Just to throw out one progressive opinion, the Daily Kos has an article Nebraska throws hat in the ring for craziest state senator: companies get their own state.

I'm not sure the federal government thinks the states are sovereign.  Thus, they might very well enforce taxes, environmental rules, child labor rules, etc...  Given the interstate commerce line of the Constitution will hold, perhaps they should maintain the delusion?

More debt, wars, tyranny, regulations, homosexuality, illegal immigrants, obesity, and welfare won't save the USA.

What would save the US is less debt and more morality, personal responsibility, freedom, and peace.

I am with you mostly on the values, but many of the vices are wanted by many individuals. Is your intent to force culture change by violence?

Live and let live. You don't need to live in a police state to have morals.

Living and letting live is easy, but someone has to take care of those who lie and promote violence.

Basically the only things that should be illegal are theft and assault.

No victim. No crime.

FWIW, I firmly believe that scholar/nebraska is actually a teenager.

The government is not your daddy. The government is not your mommy.
