I know the red side complains. People can listen to them, but there's little chance that anyone who is aware and concerned about life would agree with their ideologies. Therefore, they say we don't listen. But people are not all the same; not everyone on the red side is as narrow, rude and blind as Galen is. Sometimes they make good points. No doubt people who vote Republican or conservative libertarian have genuine concerns; they have just been mostly led astray about what to do about them politically.

But blues can respect the reds in many different ways. All people have virtues, talents, and are endowed with life, and as such deserve to be treated as we would wish to be treated, as best we can.

As usual, I point out that you too are no better than you assume me to be in these respects, so people in glass houses....

There's no doubt that some on the blue side can be dogmatic and narrow-minded, and most others like me are pretty well determined in a lot of our opinions, based on real concerns and important ideals, even though we can understand opinions from other sides and know their mistakes and concerns. Most of the dogma on the left probably comes from the identity politics element, such as militant feminists who can't consider any compromise of the abortion issue. Sometimes I find the anti-war element to be so determined in their opposition to USA militarism that they can't conceive that any military action or support carried out by the USA can be anything but wrong. It's like the familiar right-wing phrase as been altered to mean "my country, is always wrong." There are probably others on the left like this as well.

Hmm...  I don't blame the ladies for making the abortion or abuse problems important.  I do not blame them for being dogmatic in that other people are using their privilege to oppress.  Always have.  Always will?

And I can see those who say war is terrible, no matter how good the justification.  It is organized murder, after all.  I would at least ask Powell's questions, not assume it would be easy, and be unsure that all implications can be seen without 20 20 hindsight.  Then again, claiming a country is always wrong or claiming war is never justified is extreme.

In general, it is easy to become dogmatic.  It is easy to say a problem shall be solved, or to ask why a culture has never solved a problem before.  Why now?  It is easy to see the other guy as dogmatic, and one's self as having an abundance of common sense.

It is harder to see the other way around.
That this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.

Americans want to think that they live in a peaceful, free country with a balanced budget, but that belief is not true.

Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

You know that you live in a police state when everything is illegal and you have no rights.

You have no free speech rights, religious rights, gun rights, there is civil forfeiture, the government wiretaps your phone, records your web history, reads your email, takes away your right to silence, can torture you, and can extrajudicuallly assassinate you.

Your taxes fund illegal immigrants, debt, endless wars, curfews, checkpoints, no fly lists, private prisons, mandatory minimums, 3 strikes laws, DNA databases, CISPA, SOPA, NDAA, IMBRA, FBAR, FATCA laws, TSA groping, secret FISA courts, and Jade Helm.

The elites are obviously going all the way to destroy the world. Just look at history and Mao, Hitler, and Stalin.

When Americans remain quiet about rising debt, Obamacare, food stamps, regulations, endless US wars, increasing taxes, illegal immigrants, nanny state laws, security cameras, license plate readers, checkpoints, redlight cameras, speed cameras, FBI facial and voice recognition, curfews, gun bans, NSA wiretapping, the end to the right to silence, free speech bans, searches without warrants, private prisons, mandatory minimums, 3 strikes laws, DNA databases, CISPA, SOPA, NDAA, IMBRA, private prison quotas, no knock raids, take down notices, no fly lists, terror watch lists, Constitution free zones, stop and frisk, 3 strikes laws, kill switches, National Security Letters, kill lists, FBAR, FATCA, Operation Chokepoint, TSA groping, civil forfeiture, CIA torture, NDAA indefinite detention, secret FISA courts, FEMA camps, laws requiring passports for domestic travel, IRS laws denying passports for tax debts, gun and ammo stockpiles, laws outlawing protesting, police militarization, chain gangs, boot camps, and Jade Helm what kind of message does that send to the elites?

Do you think the 1% is just going to turn around and restore freedom? Do you think our overlords are just going to stop increasing tyranny on their own?

Unless Americans start speaking out, resisting, protesting, getting out into the streets with pitchforks and torches, tar and feathering the elites, cops, soldiers, politicians, government workers, and media puppets, breaking windows, setting fires, and killing people, Americans will end up in the concentration camps.

There's no hope. The US will be lucky to last another 30 years.

The best we can do now is to warn people to study history and prepare.

The USA is a bankrupt warmongering police state.

The line has been crossed. The Bill of Rights will never be restored. Even if the government said that they have ended NSA wiretapping, CIA torture, NDAA indefinite detention, and secret FISA courts, who would believe them?

The 1% appears intent on causing an economic collapse, a civil war, and WWIII.

Those fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

The collapse of the USA is shocking. How can Americans sleep now?

What should Americans do? What will happen? How do you prepare? How do you resist tyranny?

Americans are too lazy and scared to protest, but even if 10 million Americans protested in Washington, our overlords would use water cannons, tear gas, torture, guns, and prisons to crush it.

Americans could use guerilla warfare and snipers to attack the government and elites, but the government could use the guns, fighter jets, helicopters, drones, aircraft carriers, tanks, and nuclear bombs that the American taxpayers paid for against the rebels.

Another option to escape tyranny as conditions worsen is for Americans to just lay low, become stateless and nameless, and wander the world as nomads.

Part of the reason Americans are not resisting now is that they are defeated, degraded, divided, and distracted. Why go out and risk getting arrested and killed fighting tyranny when they have weed, beer, food stamps, A/C, and TV? Young people don't care about freedom because they think living in a police state is normal and old people don't care because they will be dead soon. Only middle-aged people who know what freedom was like and might be still alive for another 30-40 years seem to care.

The USA has crossed the line, but knowing when the revolution starts is difficult because the growth of the police state has been gradual.

Until the government closes churches or burns books, or you get beaten by the police or your friend is shot by the FBI, Americans may not really believe that they live in a police state.

The ruling class and the media have studied history well and have slowly chipped away freedom over the past 50 years. The media plays Americans like a fiddle. The elites can manipulate Americans to give up their freedom easily.
