I agree with other posters here arguing that Millennials are conformist. That's what cancel culture and the social media hivemind are all about. And yes, the authors did get some predictions wrong - specifically about early marriage (Millennials are the *latest* marrying generation ever) and possibly about gender roles (though one could argue that gender roles are being reconfigured not eliminated). But how could they not get some things wrong when they predicted so much?
