The Communist Party of the USA is moderating its appeal. It has abandoned its old anti-religious rhetoric and welcomes People of Faith. It excoriates Stalin and Mao. That is one way to remove some stumbling blocks to potential membership among those who had only those as causes to avoid hammers-and-sickles. There are more white people involved in interracial marriages than there are in all the KKK groups in a fractured scene. (Yes, the KKK is fractured because there are far more potential Führer types in the KKK. (Yes, the KKK is exactly the sorts of people who would have been the most willing collaborators of the Third Reich in an occupied America, and KKK groups really are fascists. The Nazis learned much from the Second [1915] Klan in rhetoric and style).
So there are more white people bearing or siring mixed-race children than there are in racist movements. Explain that away!

War is a budget-buster. It is great for profits for those who sell materiel, whether weapons or provisions. COVID-19 is another budget-buster, much like a war in killing people and imposing huge costs. Debt is acceptable if it is attached to a money-generator, something that improves one's life, or an appreciating asset. Debt is the antithesis of prosperity. America does not have a forming police state with Biden as President as it did with Trump.

Did you realize that much of the homelessness is the result of domestic abuse and of parents rejecting their LGBT kids? Now you know. I strongly endorse a crackdown on domestic violence. Beating a spouse is not a valid expression of freedom. I consider dogs better deterrents to crime than guns are. A Yorkshire terror -- I mean terrier -- I mean tiger -- can put someone in the hospital for some very bad bites. Small dogs have big teeth and big claws. Vaping is no better than smoking.

Without question, I am convinced that American People would be safer from despotism if they became wiser, less materialistic, and less bigoted. I firmly believe that all Americans who aren't too stupid or certifiably have something better to do with their lives would fare better with two years of liberal-arts education that would greatly broaden their knowledge and intellectual experience. Better Mozart than porn, wouldn't you say? Better that one walks a dog than masturbates alone. A demagogue like Donald Trump appeals to lonely, scared, angry, frustrated, ignorant people. I have no illusion that Donald Trump will be the last demagogue to bedevil America; we need to shore up our institutions, public and private, to protect ourselves from the next one who could exploit a military debacle or an economic meltdown. I'm not convinced that Americans got FDR and Germans got Hitler because Americans were nicer people and the Germans were heels.
