In my experience, that's too young. Based on my highly scientific analysis of friends and kin, I'd say no Millennial was born after 1998. In other words, on December 31st, 2017, the last Millennial turned 19. After that, it's all Green Frog Generation.

Let's agree to disagree about your timing, while I ask a dumb question.  Do you see this from the perspective of a Swede, or is this a more general analysis?  I may be of Swedish decent, but it wasn't until I worked for Ericsson for several years that I cam to appreciate the differences, not just in culture, but in perspective.  Swedes my age seemed at once more relaxed and more youthful.  There was even a point where I started to meet what would have been Gen-Xers that were solidly Millennial in thinking, though I didn't know that at the time.

You may be seeing an effect that applies to you and your country but not this one.

I see it from the perspective of a Swede mostly. I look at my nephews and the sons of my friends who are now in various stages of adolescence (these guys never knew a world before 9/11 and "religion of peace" beheadings) and believe I find marked differences between them and the typical mindhive Millennials who are now in their 20's. These younger kids often appear to feel more suffocated by an adult world they have generally stopped trying to make sense of. Their trust is low, they tend to be right-wing and somehow appear tougher and more independent than their next elders. Not the expected Silent traits perhaps, but the main thing is they are different. Actually, apart from the obvious overprotection from ideas and reality, they remind me more of my own X Generation at a like age than either the Silent or the Millennials. I also get the same vibe from US dominated forums where some of these youngsters congregate and share the green frog wit they call "memes". There's a certain "cool" about them.

But like I said, I have nothing solid with which to back these impressions up, so no way of knowing how much is just my own prejudice and projection.

Hm, question before I reply further: Those Swedish Xers you found to be solidly Millennial in thinking, how old were they?
