He is not that successful in life. He is a successful promoter. He knows how to sell. That's what he's doing. He's an agressive used car salesman, and I wouldn't buy. Nor would lots of other folks.

Things are getting a bit out of hand.  Bronsin is no troll. On the scale established by Marc Lamb, trollster extraordinaire, Bronsin doesn't even register.

As to the question as to whether Trump is trying to lose, I would say no, although it sure looks like it. By this I mean Trump thinks he can win, but knows he can't. I see Trump as a guy with a tremendous capacity for self-delusion. On the other hand he is not stupid, so he is planning his next step.

Actually winning would seem to require that he do the job of president.  Trump has never had a job, he's 70 years old, he's not going to take one now.  Jobs are for losers. Doing the job of president was never something he was going to do. On the other hand, I think being president was an objective.  How to square than circle is a real conundrum, but it is looking more and more that he is not going to have to deal with it.

Maybe he just figured out the Presidency is a real bad job.  Just look at how gray folks are after they get done.
