The facts are that Blue America has more gun control than Red America, and the results are that there is less gun violence in those states, and even less murder and crime overall. Blue Americans know what's up, as David Hogg and his friends say. They are hip to the truth and the facts. Smooth Matt is so well-informed that he's able to express it with aplomb and assurance, and he will be a leader in this current 4T and in coming decades that mobilizes our country both red and blue in a moral and progressive rebirth. 

Young people, purple and blue alike, are the ones who know guns are a crisis. Guns are a 4T issue along with other issues, because we've already had thousands of children and young adults killed in school shootings, and thousands more in offices, theaters, concerts, night clubs, shopping centers, churches, post offices, military forts, restaurants, buses, baseball parks, streets, plus assassinations, police murders and murders by police..... Enough is enough!
Blue America doesn't know shit about anything that isn't some how or another related to them. I've been telling blues that for years and blues seemed to sort start to figure that out after the election of Trump and their loss of the Senate. We've had more gun deaths by suicide than actual gun violence. We've had more deaths by overdoses heroin/illegal drugs than actual gun violence. But, gun violence the one you chose. If that's so, then we are on the same page as far as the crisis goes.

Gun deaths by suicide does not make them any less tragic gun deaths. The guns make suicide easier, that's the point. Guns are dangerous killing machines that cost extra lives. People are concerned about drug overdoses too. Part of that is due to the mailaise that the Republicans have created by allowing our industrial base to decline through their free trade policies and failure to provide services for people to deal with unemployment, and spending everything on cops instead. That's the same trickle-down, anti-welfare, self-reliance ideology of the reds, which you just voiced again. 

And of course police are killing unarmed young blacks by the hundreds, or the thousands, although I don't have an exact figure; but this kind of event goes back to the sixties, and have been frequent causes of riots ever since then. It happens enough for blacks to say enough is enough, just like the students. And there are two reasons why these police killings of blacks are happening more often now: racism, and guns. Most shootings happen because the police are afraid that the shooting victim had or might have a gun, because there are too many guns out there. And that's why police departments favor gun control.

Oh, I don't think so. He is a skilled spokesman and press agent now. He's learning a lot as he goes along. I don't know if you saw the video, but the commentator identified the Goliath he took down. Pretty darn impressive take-down, far beyond the way he looked. He struck Goliath where it hurts. David's cool under pressure is impressive too. Better than you or I could ever do. It's easy to knock him just by saying you think there are others coaching him and protecting him, but you don't know that, and if it were true you would know it. He gets compliments from interviewers, and I suppose you can say they are blue, but that's only to be expected.

I'm not a big fan of Laura Ingram. She's OK but she's nothing special. He didn't take her down. She's still on Fox News. I don't care about his grade point average or the colleges he wants to attend or rejected from attending. Hmm...Where was he during the shooting and while the shooting was going on? Was he in the middle of it or a safe distance away from it? Where was he afterwards? Was he doing what journalists/reporters normally do (taking notes, gathering info and preparing comments and statements) or doing what the people were doing at the scene where the shooting took place?

David stated in this video and others that he was at school hovering under a desk during the shooting, and was recording hushed conversations with fellow students trapped nearby. I don't know how close the shooter got to him; enough so everyone was forced to hide.

He was hovering under a desk gathering information from other students at the time of the shooting. What good did that do anyone but him and his life as far as saving lives of his fellow students and teachers during the shooting and after the shooting was over? Was he forced to hide or was he taught to hide by blue teachers and blue policy makers? We weren't taught to hide and take notes during a crisis. We were taught to attack, fight for and defend our lives and the lives of others as well.

Hmm...Maybe that's the difference/separating point between red and blue males and females and older more reddish and younger more blueish generations. What conspiracy theory, the theory that blues have something ( a negative/prejudiced view, a negative/prejudiced belief, an unsubstantiated fear of guns and gun owners) against the 2nd Amendment and everyone who supports it and working to protect it from blues who want to discard it and disarm America. There's a difference between the Russian collusion conspiracy theory that some blues are still clinging to and still believing in than the belief that reds have gained from interaction and observation of blues speaking with blues and official statements and positions that clearly have been taken by prominent blues in blue forums and blue Democrats over many years.

Gee, the future of his blue party has fallen on the shoulders of a group of 15/16 year old's. My suggestion to him, get up and get off that cozy blue ass of his and get up off that cozy blue chair he's sitting in and do what you never did the whole time you sat in the cozy blue chair in a cozy blue office of yours in the White House having your ego stroked by cozy blue people and cozy blue supporters and cozy blue friends who loved you so much. I don't know if the mayor of Nashville is blue or not, but it's in a very red state with little gun control, and he's now for gun control after the shooting in the nearby suburb at the Waffle House.

Fear of guns is of course impossible to deny, or criticize. The only rational response to guns is to fear them. It's no theory; it's rather obvious. It's a rational fear, which should lead people to protect society from them, whether by background checks, rules for storage, limits on ammo magazines, limits and bans on war weapons, voluntary buy backs, or taking guns away eventually, if the people fully someday realize that this should happen.

The distraction from education, as Ryan Deitsch said, is not going to rallies or walkouts; it's "staring down the barrel of a gun"

The Russia collusion theory seems on the verge of getting bigger, and maybe proven, but the facts should be clearer some day soon, and that will be better than any theory, regardless of what the facts are. I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories.

It is rational, when potentially confronted with a situation, to be trained, equipped and mentally ready for that situation.  The founding fathers lived in a world where those situations were common enough to protect that right.  It is rational to believe that a bad guy confronted with such a hostile and active population would feel free to avoid drawing the attention of an armed, trained and ready population.

It does not hurt to write laws that supposedly prohibit bad guys (felons, the insane, etc...) from owning or carrying arms.  That fine if you think prohibition will work, but irrational if you do not.  Police can spend their time and effort trying to make prohibition work.  Just make sure due process and rule of law aren't thrown away in a vain hope for backwards safety.
