In my experience, yes, this happens. But seriously, they are declaring that to nobody (other than clones of themselves). On this board, there are a whole lot of lurkers who have figured out who to read seriously, and who to gloss over based on their posting history ... so honestly, who cares what they declare? And when ignored over time, they will eventually get tired & move on. I say IGNORE!
