The whole groping thing can't work for the Donald, since he's done much worse himself, and the Ukraine argument won't hold either. If Biden gets the nod and loses the general, it will be his bumbling and the failure to attack Trump in as nasty terms as Trump attacks him. That seems totally feasible to me.
And mea culpa: I had Bernie written off after his heart attack, but that seems to have been ignored by the voting public. He's looking incredibly strong, and may get the nod this time. If so, he'll be better positioned to win with a really strong VP choice. After all, he'll be the oldest candidate to ever run for the job. He will need a VP who looks as Presidential as he does, so the faint-of-heart won't get the vapors.
