This is why it's a waste of time to talk to you and other Democrats.
You are totally ignorant about anything going on, because your
Democrat masters heavily censor the news that you're allowed to know
about.

A couple of months ago, I mentioned the southern border crisis, and
you said that it was "imaginary."  You had no idea what was going on,
so you lied.  Today you would probably like to claim you never said
that, which is why I say that people like you lie about what's going
on, and then lie about your lies.

The real farce was Mayorkas who claimed every day that "the border is
closed," while Fox News was showing clip after clip of people pouring
across the border.  Mayorkas is typical of Democrats, most of whom are
total assholes.

FoX News Channel has an agenda, the support of one particular view of how America is to be structured economically and politically. In essence, those who own and manage the assets that underpin America are to get their way in politics and in cultural norms so that America can best reward those elites in the name of maximal prosperity, which itself implies maximal inequality and the suppression of any ideological or cultural positions that challenge the domination of those elites. Labor-management relations are to return to those of the Gilded Era or at least those of the 1920's, when sweatshop conditions were the norm for industrial workers.

FoX News is as manipulative as Pravda was in its heyday, although on behalf of the classes that Marx and Lenin excoriated. Marx saw inequality of ownership as the cornerstone of economic inequality but ignored that those wielding control even of publicly-owned assets could themselves be severe exploiters as could medieval aristocrats who structured power upon the ownership of agricultural land. If bourgeois capitalists had to share power with a rural aristocracy in early-modern days, the plutocratic principle still applied in such a country as Prussia and later the Second German Reich. Such modern liberal democracy could exist only where there was a conflict between agrarian and industrial interests.

In any event, FoX News has its techniques. One is to loop images of disgusting behavior from people on the Other Side short of public defecation (which remains a taboo even for FoX News)  as a demonstration of the pervasiveness of bad behavior on the Other Side. (OK, at least we liberals have never formed an ideological monolith and do not all act alike. Some of us are quite bourgeois in style. Another is to use camera tricks to make those that it presents as disgusting even uglier. It loves to show fires. FoX News manipulates its viewers to get angry.

Quote:So now you're claiming that a capitol cop was assaulted by bear spray.
That's a lie that the Democrats pushed for months, until an April
court session when the Democrats had to admit that bear spray was
never used, and that officer Brian Sicknick had died of natural causes
a day later, after suffering two strokes.

Illicit assault a police officer of any kind is a criminal act. For decades the Capitol police had the plum job of formally guarding a place in which people generally behaved well. It is theoretically possible that someone will physically attack a member of Congress or Congressional staff  or wander far from a Congressional tour.  It is easy for the Capitol Police to swarm someone who shouts some vile language. That sort of policing is more deterrence than the search-and-destroy (or arrest) missions that other police might do against a bank robber, rapist, or dope peddler.

Capitol Police were not accustomed to violent attacks. They are not designed to withstand an attempted seizure of the Capitol, something long considered unthinkable. So it wasn't bear spray? Under the extreme stress it is easy to misdiagnose the agents of chemical assault when one experiences them after never having encountered them. If it wasn't bear spray, it might have been "dog spray". So what! Use of a chemical spray on someone is literal assault, justifiable only in self defense. Use it against a dog or a cat without justification and you might have a cruelty-to-animal charge added to other criminal offenses in sentencing.

So someone who experiences a chemical spray can't tell whether it is Mace, pepper spray, or something else. That's usually a once-in-a-lifetime experience and even at that a rarity.  How does someone know what he experienced? That is perhaps for a medical professional to establish, and perhaps for an evidence lab to determine.

Quote:That's the problem.  The Democrats are all jackasses who lie about
what happens and then lie about their lies, so that you can be a
worthless troll and lie along with them.

When we are wrong we backtrack. Eyewitness accounts are often unreliable, especially when someone is in deep distress while an event unfolds.

Quote:Next, you claim that "a cop shot a criminal in the process of
committing a crime."  Really, how do you know that?  You simply made
that up and lied about it, just like every jackass Democrat.

No one, not even the capitol police, has accused Ashli Babbitt of
having committed any crime whatsoever, except of course the "crime" of
being a Trump supporter, which I guess is enough for you to say that
she deserved to be shot dead.

One offense is literal burglary, which means getting into an enclosed space through illicit entry. Ashli Babbitt was literally committing burglary. Shots were fired, and one hit her. Why she and not someone else was mortally wounded is pure chance.

You saw video of the storming of the Capitol. Did that look like normal behavior in American politics?

Quote:All we know is that Ashli Babbitt was a veteran and she was unarmed
and peacefully protesting.  She was inside the Capitol building
because the Capitol police had opened the doors and invited many of
the protesters to come in.  This is standard.  It is not a crime to be
inside the Capitol building.

It is not a crime to be inside the Capitol building: I have been there on a guided tour involving a high-school band that had been at a band contest. Our Congressman had invited us. It went well, much unlike what happened on January 6.

Now ask yourself what would have happened had some extreme leftists shouted "Hang Mike Pence!" I saw that on TV, and I thought it disgusting and absurd. The whole event was an attempt to disrupt the ceremonial recognition that Joe Biden had been elected President and Kamala Harris had been elected Vice-President. The Joint Chiefs of Staff made clear and simple that in accordance with laws of the US that Biden and Harris would be inaugurated on January 20. The event in Congress was a mere formality, and had the insurrectionists made the act impossible in Congress, then there would surely be some place at which Congress could do its appointed task, like the venue for Washington Wizards basketball games or Washington Capitols hockey games. Or maybe the Pentagon. Whatever.

It is unacceptable to call for violence against elected officials. Did you see liberals defend the attack on Congressman Steve Scalise?

Quote:The Capitol police are stonewalling what happened.  They're refusing
to release the name of the Capitol officer who shot her dead.  They're
refusing to release any details of what happened.  They are known to
have video of what happened, but they're refusing to release that.
The obvious implication is that the Democrats are responsible.

The government is also refusing to show video of the whacking of Osama bin Laden.

Quote:But none of that bothers you.  You're completely ignorant of anything
that's going on.  What you "want" is for the murder of Ashli Babbitt
to be justified, so you make up "facts" and lie about them.  Later,
you'll change your mind and lie about your lies.

There are people who more deserved what happened to Ashli Babbitt... but she took undue risks by participating in an illegal assault upon a session of Congress. Some of her video calls before she got shot have been released. She knew what was planned. She would have been an obvious candidate for arrest had she survived. Bad things happen from political violence, and this is no exception.

Quote:Like all other jackass Democrats, you're just a worthless troll.

I've seen more trolls on the Other Side.
The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the dedicated Communist  but instead the people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction, true and false, no longer exists -- Hannah Arendt.
