"Cancellation culture" is overrated, it usually has no effect on the finance of the "cancelled". It's also natural not to make friends with someone who despises your views, there is no need to call that "cancelling".
And remember "cancel" is a verb, not a noun.
I agree, "cancel culture" is not the existential threat that some people make it out be. It's a reflection of our social era's need for consensus over conflict.
